I JUST ENJOY DOING THE WORK.
I am Bob Simons. I am the owner/operator/president of Simons Engineering Services. I built and installed this site to help inform you, the internet surfers, about various things that are on my mind. I have been fortunate over my lifetime to have learned from doing and from listening. I have listened to the best. I mean the men and women that do the work. Yes, I have a college degree. That opened doors for me and gave me the foundation of learning, but the knowledge came from asking and listening to the people that do the tasks that need to be done to keep our great country working. They gave to me a limitless amount of knowledge. I tried to grab it all, but alas, I have only retained so much. It does seem to be enough to keep me gainfully employed. It also seems to be enough that many people keep coming to me for advice in many areas. I must admit that most of the time it is in the area of our physical world. My goal in my very young years was not to be a "jack of all trades and a master of none", but to be a "master of all trades". I obviously have not achieved that goal, but my life is not over yet either. So there is still a chance.
Seriously, I now live in the Ozarks of Arkansas, but most of my career I lived in northern Wisconsin. God blessed me with many talents and the ability to learn. And the one thing I really enjoy and take pride in is helping others.
I hope in this web site that I will be able to pass along some ideas, my opinions, facts and figures, and anything else that pops up to, hopefully, help someone have a better and more fruitful day.
